The Great British Sewing Bee

From the producers of the popular `The Great British Bake Off' comes another `Great' competition series, but instead of making desserts, contestants make dresses. `The Great British Sewing Bee' features eight hopefuls tested on their needle skills as they compete to be crowned Britain's best amateur sewer. Eliminations each episode are preceded by three challenges that cover a range of sewing techniques - from tailoring to embroidery - to be judged by May Martin from the Women's Institute and Savile Row tailor Patrick Grant. `Strictly Come Dancing' presenter Claudia Winkleman is the host.
